The demo account offers real-time market data and is the same software you would use for real-time trading. In fact, when you are ready to open and fund a live trading account with actual money, you use the same applications and just login with your new “live” username and password – making the migration to trading with actual money is seamless. Please note that the demo does not generate daily account statements and does not deduct commissions and fees that are applicable to a live account.
