Trading under demo account

I’m trying out IB with the demo account and having a few problems:

  1. No matter how I try to place an order, chart or ladder, it gets filled 30 points away in random direction from where I selected it to be placed. And it gets filled immediately, even though there is no price action taking place where it is filled.

  2. I can’t get a simple trailing stop strategy to work. It never places the order. I’ve followed the videos for how to do it, it just doesn’t work.

  1. The demo is 10 minutes delayed. This is causing that issue. You can email me and I can set your demo to live data.
  2. Please post some screenshots of the strategy so that I can see the details.
