mgc is 100$ margin but is it still?/

i see margin requirement is 100$ for mgc ? is it still or margin is raised now ?? do they raise margins of mnq and mgc during news , how much?? and when to know they back to normal??

Metals margins are currently set at full exchange requirements, and you’ll find a note about this at the top of our margins page. To put it in perspective, if you had purchased one MGC contract at this morning’s open, you’d be sitting at roughly a $3,000 loss based on today’s price action alone. Given that level of volatility, raising margins to full exchange requirements is a necessary step to manage risk appropriately.
